First ever plugin Modification

Update: The drop caps plugin written by me is now active on the blog. You can see the effect in all the post titles. The effect has come using CSS.

I went to Chennai during the weekend and as promised Puchki helped me create a new theme. We basically designed the generic page and then I have converted that to a theme. There are still some minor issues pending but I hope to get that sorted out by this weekend.

I am also doing a plugin modification to suit my needs for the first time :D The plugin replaces and does a DropCap effect. The default way of getting a dropcap in wordpress and the plugin which I found both did the effect only on the first letter of a paragraph. In addition the plugin written by viper replaced the letter with an image. I changed the plugin to change the first letter of the post title and replace it with a CSS style. I have not yet activated the plugin yet as I am working on some other facets of the theme. Once everything is done I will post about it :)

Hope you love the design. I have really fell in love with the design. It is very light in images. So far we have used only few icons and the total size of the images directory is 30 KB only. Out of which the top header image is itself 27KB :) I am really glad about the icon. Also for the first time the coding is XHTML and CSS Valid. Thanks Puchki:D
